There Prague
Privacy Policy
Effective September 5, 2026
Archived policy for the offline There Prague 1.0.0. For the There Global update, version 1.1.0 and later, read the current privacy policy.
There Prague is a standalone Wear OS application that points toward nearby places in Prague without displaying a map or route.
Data handled by the app
There Prague requests foreground precise or approximate location so it can calculate the distance and direction from the watch to a selected place. It also reads motion and orientation sensors to rotate the direction indicator.
Location and sensor readings are processed only on the watch while the app is in use. The app does not transmit, sell, share, or retain these readings. There Prague does not request background location.
Offline place data
The Prague point-of-interest database is bundled with the app and is used offline. Place data is derived from OpenStreetMap. Data © OpenStreetMap contributors and is available under the Open Database License.
OpenStreetMap copyright and licenceAccounts, advertising, analytics, and payments
There Prague has no user accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking, in-app purchases, or subscriptions. The app does not include its own Internet permission.
Google Play may process information when distributing or updating the app under Google's own privacy policy. That processing is controlled by Google and is not performed by There Prague.
Google Privacy PolicyData retention and security
Because There Prague does not collect or transmit personal data, it has no server-side personal-data retention. Android and Wear OS control the location permission, which the user can revoke at any time in system settings.
Children
There Prague is not directed to children. The app includes a category for locating bars and is intended for adults.
Changes
If the app's data practices change, this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated before the changed version is published.
